Talks & White Papers
Speakers from all points of the nation will converge in the capital on November 5 and 6, 2015 to share best practices and discuss White House initiatives regarding improving professional and civic data scientist education, recruitment, and professional development. All attendees receive access to featured white papers developed by each of the sponsoring grassroots organizations for information on how to start, maintain, and grow one of the many types of data science organizations in attendance.
National Priority Challenge
Help us design the nation's most awesome civic hacking infrastructure. Part data jam, part hackathon, part community building, part civic duty, the National Priority Challenge is the output of our organizational efforts this session and will give a competitive edge to national civic engagement.
Network with some of the best in the national data science network, including meetup organizers, non-profits, government agencies, and the White House. Check out the growing list of social events on the workshop schedule and by DC Metro area data science organizations that will give you the opportunity to make new friends in a relaxed atmosphere.
